Here is an excerpt from From Unconsciousness to Consciousness, OSHO. The ending is controversial but the spirit behind this is appreciable.
You are responsible for whatsoever you are.
If you are miserable, you are responsible.
Don't throw the responsibility on anybody else, otherwise you will never be free of it.
Because how can you be free if I am responsible for your misery?
Then unless I free you, you cannot be free;
if it is in my hands.
And if it is in my hands,
it can be in somebody else's hands.
Those who are with me have to understand,
howsoever hard and painful it is,
you and you alone are responsible,
for everything that is happening to you,
has happened to you, will happen to you.
Once you accept all responsibility in its totality,
you become mature.
You stop throwing tantrums and
you stop seeking messiahs.
There is no need for any Jesus to save you.
Nor can any Jesus save you - he was exploiting your situation.
